Have Courage, Darling

Even in the hardest of times, God is steadfast. Sometimes I find it hard to find hope in difficult and painful seasons. I go through times where no matter how desperately I call out to Jesus I just can’t hear his voice. Sometimes I just want to give up and turn away. But my faithful father always grabs my heart and tells me, “have courage, darling”.

Here are some verses that give me the courage and strength I need to keep going. These are reminders of the importance of putting our trust in Jesus. Remember our lasting strength is found in Him alone!

“If you do not stand firm in your faith you will not stand at all.” Isaiah7:9

“… I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my savior; my God will hear me.” Micah7:7

” Strengthened with all power according to His glorious might… Have great patience and endurance.” 1 Corinthians16:13

“I will declare your love stands firm forever, that you establish your faithfulness in heaven itself.” Psalm89:2

“Peace I leave  with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do noto be afraid.” John14:27

“When the righteous cry out for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all of their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirtit.” Psalm 34:17-18

“The Lord is my ROCK, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my sheild, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” Psalms18:2

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew5:3

“When we are faithless he remains faithful.” 2 Timothy2:13

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will recieve the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James1:12

“As for God his way is perfect; The Lords word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in Him.” Psalm18:30
